Team Losi now raises the bar yet another level with the XXX-T Brushless RTR, the first electric RTR equipped with a state-of-the-art brushless motor system. There is little doubt that brushless power is the future. With greater power, longer run time, better reliability, and much less maintenance, brushless offers more of everything the enthusiast wants. Until now, the only way to achieve this level of performance and reliability was considered costly. With Team Losi and Novak working together to offer this remarkable package the enthusiast can enjoy all of the benefits at only a fraction of the cost. The custom made Novak system includes the innovative sensor-based SS4300 brushless motor, which is ROAR approved. There is also a pre-programmed user friendly Super Sport based ESC with One-Touch Set-Up and Thermal Overload Protection. The ESC features two user-selectable profiles, one with reverse and one without for racing. Both options offer built-in drag and push brakes, which until now have not been available. The XXX-T Brushless RTR brings together the unique combination of a race-proven Team Losi chassis design, premium JR XR2i radio, and industry leading Novak brushless motor system. Best of all it all comes out of the box ready-to-run with a killer new trim scheme. Like all Team Losi RTR’s the XXX-T Brushless uses all genuine Team Losi replacement and performance parts.

The 4300 is novak's stock motor equivalent

A 4300 goes about like a top 19t with more overall speed. They market it as a stock equivalent but it's nowhere near a stock in terms of performance. Way faster.

SS4300 Racing Stock Brushless Motor

The SS4300 Racing Stock Brushless Motor is one of three brushless motors from Novak. Designed for use with either the Super Sport ESC (#3205)or the Super Sport Plus Brushless/Brush ESC (#1705), the SS4300 provides all of the advantages of the SS5800 Brushless Motor, but provides lower speeds for increased vehicle control for newer drivers, and longer run-times for those trying to get some valuable "practice" time on the track. With a Kv rating of 4,300 RPM/Volt, a Kt rating of 0.45 in-oz/amp, and a power output of 175 watts, the SS4300 Brushless Motor provides performance similar to a 27-turn racing stock brushed motor.

anyways, Losi will really be making a breakthrough in RTR electrics with this release. hopefully in the future all RTRs will be brushless. :nod:

I agree, so many people come to the hobby shop I work at on the weekends, and have problems with the rtr motors in their car. it turns out that they are driving around with brushes that have worn down to the shunts!

Most likely these are people who are used to buying Radio shack cars, The kind where the car breaks before anything else, and the whole thing gets tossed in the can.

Brushless is perfect for these guys!

i fully agree, they don't want to worry about getting a comm lathe, new brushes and springs, or maintaining their motor whatsoever. a brushless would be perfect for the newbie. :nod: or the just plain lazy man like me. :p :lol:

Most of it depends on the driver!!!
