Hey all people out there...

I need some feedback/reviews on some 1/8 GP Buggies... Please consider these points.
-Price
-Quality
-Part support
-Popularity
-Stability
-Or any other points you consider to be important.

These are the ones-
Xray XB8
HongNor X1CR
Hyper 8
GS Storm CL-01
Mugen

Can you guys state which are the winners in each category and overall. Also please recomend which one is the best for me. A beginner...
I want to make sure that I get the buggy that I really want. Thanks in advance. Please do not be put off by my naive questions.. Paiseh

Why no Kyosho?
If I had a choice i would go the Hyper 8.
Mugen is also a great kit but many find it hard to get parts for.
Xray has now been out for about 4 years and was Xray's first kit. I don't think i have ever seen it win a race.
X1 CR is also a very nice kit and has been proven a winner all over the world.

Cheers

You said you are a beginner, have you ever done nitro before or electric? Have you considered a RTR?

XRC Magazine did a 1/8 Buggy shoot out a few months back (issue #118 I believe). I'm not a 1/8 driver so not sure if it reviewed the buggies you listed but it may be a good start for you.
