best charger that doesnt have all the extra bling is the muchmore ctx-c.

then get a motor master for your motor run in/comm lathe.

then get a ctx-d for your discharging.

will cost about $550 for all that.

cheers.

This forum should have an FAQ as this question is asked quite often.

In my opinion the ICE is the best charger for the price. I have had it, a Cell Master CTX-C and a Turbo 35 BL and prefer the ICE over all 3. It does step charging, has temp cut off, motor run in (which the Much More doesn't), and can charge Lipo's. All in a very portable size.

APS Dyno/Charger has it all for around $180. 3 stage charge, motor run/motor dyno. Very nice charger.

I would find a used gfx or a pulsar 2. They are two of the best chargers out.

I'm not jamescam, but I can answer it. The ICE is made by Duratrax. You can buy it at Tower hobbies for a good price. $20 off an order of $125 or more and $10 gift certificate for buying an ICE charger. The charger is $129 or so.

Integy makes great chargers. I have the 16X5V6 and absolutly love the charger. I am waiting for the 16X512 though as it will have step charging and thermal cutoff. You would be very happy with the integy charger though. Pulsar is a good charger and the Much More Cell master is one heck of a little charger but a little pricey.
