The X-6 will come with composite parts.. They just signed the deal with the mold man. C'mon, that Magnesium chassis is sweet!!!! I watched this car run and the world needs a car like this. The Sinclairs' are just the ticket to wake up the rest of the competition. Both Associated and Losi seem to be asleep. I myself want an X-5, but have not had time to order one yet. But I will!!!!

It has not been tried since tire technology made the leap it did when rubber compounds got so soft that foam liners had to be used. The car clearly works well if it made the top 15 at the Winter Champs and the track was not super grippy from what I read about it.
Give the X6 a chance to prove itself in some more races. The X5 is the current National Champion in 4wd. The guys and their concept deserve more respect than they are getting here.

Thank you!!!! That MORON does not realize that it takes a motivated group like the Sinclairs to make Associated and Losi get to the next generation of cars and push the technilogical envelope!!! Hence the term wake up. I'm sure that if you haved raced for the last 20 years that you would be able to respect my response. Good luck with your RTR!!!!

Let me correct some misconceptions I think may be in some of the posts above.
First, the final retail price of The New Math will be $149.00. Only the first 300 will be sold at $129.00, and that's to people who have faith in us and put up their money in advance of actual production. The entire story is on www.2wdrc.com . Some spots remain open.
Second, the X - 6 chassis, rear control arms, and rear shock tower will be molded "graphite" parts made by X Factory. The rear hinge pins will be Lunsford Ti pins.
Third, the body you see in all the photos and videos is a cheap and simple prototype cover made to try out the aerodynamic concept. The actual production body will be much different and improved, although the aerodynamics of the proto body do work and will be incorporated in the production body. The final body will be much more rounded and more sleek.
Greg and Paul will be running their prototype X - 6s at the Cactus Classic. Greg is officially entered, and we didn't learn that Paul could attend until Cactus entries had closed, but Paul will be there and is on the list in case someone does not show.
Greg will be at Mike's Hobby in Dallas this weekend with his X - 6. Come on out and watch for yourself.
