It’s an XRAY, no build tips required. Build it per the manual and you will be all good.

Interested in buying one of these for some occasional racing, can someone confirm the wheelbase and track measurements please as I can't find them listed anywhere on the xray website.

Also there are many pictures about of these so please post pics of your ride. Interested to see what the shell looks like as the xray shots aren't great.

Thanks

Need to give this thread a boost. What is a good starting point for gearing with a 10.5t motor? I've calculated around 16-17/81. Just need a sense check to make sure I'm close.

Noticed this on rcamerica today...

https://www.rcamerica.com/xray-xt4-2...c-truck-360201

Probably just an update to match 2020 XB4 specs

Anyone got any links to setup sheets for high grip carpet? I'm running the kit setup and I think I need to go stiffer on springs and heavier on shock oil but interested to know what other run.

Also interested if theres a guide to xray spring rates as I find it's not clear what rate the kit springs are.

Thanks

So i know very little about racing electrics. Picked up an xt4 to run for an event. What turn or KV motor would be ideal for an 1/8th scale track? Is it better to run sct stuff (4pole 5mm shaft) or standard stuff. Also the gearing what would get me in the ballpark for say an 80-100 foot straight without burning the car down in the infield.
ill more than likely sell it all off after this race so not looking for the best of the best just dont want to show up with a useless setup

out here with the ET410 guys it was common to see them running anywhere from 6.5T to 5.5T motor setups, higher mah battery packs. Talking to some, the Tekin "Pro2" motors I have heard work well. more torque but not as much as say the Pro4 that some have said are overkill.

From at least what I can tell nobody has had this in stock yet. Has Xray confirmed what changes the .2 version will include?
