sorry to hear about the class dying off. Don't even run the class at my track anymore. I've stopped racing all together. I just drive my Basher trucks and crawlers with my son

Just the kind of info I was looking for, thanks!

Kit shock oils seemed a bit thick to me as well for loose tracks.

With the release of the DTM3/CAL3 in particular the new bigger hingepins and hingepin inserts, and considering how close the AE B74 matches up to the yokomo a-arms, I wouldn't be surprised you see some fitted with those. Rumor also is Yokomo is looking to address the a-arm issue as well.

Looking forward to racing with a buddy who has the XT4 with my YZ4SFT. it looks nice, hope Yokomo makes a full version too.

Default Motor/ ESC recommendations

Hi everyone
I just ordered one of these kits and I知 not sure which motor and esc to purchase. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This kit will mostly be run outdoors on larger 1/8 tracks like Thunder Alley and Wild West RC.
Thanks everyone.

I知 interesting in this too!

What motor/ESC combo would you run for fun and open races?

I am considering Mamba X & 1406 (5700kv or 4600kv)

If its anything like my conversion powerplant wise, if running mod anywhere from a 5.5T to an 8.5T has been shown to work well out here in ET410s and our YZ4SFT conversions. ESCs ones like Tekin RSX Pro and the Hobbywing XR10 Pros would be good to go with.

Default Xt4

I am running a tekin gen 3 6.5 and a rsx pro.. runs great.. I have around a 16 tooth pinion on it.. I have found you really need a more low pro pinion to use on it.
