It is announced: https://teamxray.com/xt4/23/en/
And they did not fix anything. Just the xb4 2022 updates.
How disappointing.
- Same super week arms.
- Same super week hinge pins.
- No wire management.
- No fan mount
- No 32 pitch spur gear.
I'll buy one, but feel I will need to do Tekno front arms and hinge pins on it. Not going to be fighting those issues for another year. I have nice 3d printed fan mounts and wire management.
Rcdad42 and Buddasmurf like this.

I’m curious what aluminum c hub and steering blocks are you using? I have the XT8e and the aluminum conversion on it was a must.

Also since making the change how has it held up since doing this conversion?

Talking weak arm solved! (or at least I think so )

believe i have come upon another solution to the weak arms problem. I used PR racing #9050026
approximately .015 has to be removed from the outside of the arms as they are just a hair tight. no spacer has to be used. i also replaced the shock shaft with Traxxas 2656T . They are 5 mm longer which you will need to have the same travel as stock. i replaced the springs with some i had from the rear of a HB 413 but several models use same size. I replaced with slightly softer to compensate for the geometry as they mount a bit farther out on the arms. As a safety precaution i put 6.5 mm spacer on the outside of the shock shaft to limit up stroke as for some reason the driveshafts seemed closer inside. I did not actually measure the arms, they might be a hair shorter. On the track this setup works much better than original as far as durability . I tapped the wall and pipes and that would have ended my run but no issue whatsoever ever . I will try to post pictures tomorrow if allowed

I had to edit prior post as found out after ordering another set of arms that my first set ( and one of the 2 sets I ordered later) had been mis labeled. they are actually used on the rear of the PR racing truggy.

Looks like a oem'd TLR 22X-4 with truggy arms.. https://teamxray.com/xt4/23/en/#17
Seriously been noticing this a lot.. the designs are so similar or outright the same its crazy they are not suing eachother..
