Old Frog
 

I am new to rc cars, I have an old frog in my dads attic. It is in pieces. I plan on rebuilding it for a starter It needs a new ESC, can I buy any or does it need the original one that comes with the kit?

You can buy just about any speed control. It'll be much better than the mechanical speed control that came with the car that's for sure.

Hey just be carefull on how much you spend on parts as Tamiya have re realised the Frog. Collectors are trying to sell parts in a hurry.
You can ask me anything as i have had a couple and do have spares .. They are a fantastic buggy you will have fun just keep grease in the drive shafts. They do strip easy. The new Frog i think have a dog bones instead. HAVE FUN..
