My Pulsar 2 taking 45 mins to charge a 3600 battery? Advice needed please...
I have a Pulsar 2 from LRP and I charge my 3600 pro match batteries 1.20v with it. The problem is they take about 40-45 mins to charge 1 battery. I followed the instructions from pro match and i set my peak detection at 15mv and that was the setting where the batteries reached a temperature of 127F when the peak detection set off. I am charging at 5 amps. Any suggestions or is this normal?

I would say it is normal. 3300's take around 30-35 minutes when fully discharged and my ib3800's take around that 45 mark at 6 amps. If time is an issue i pre charge at a lower amp and then peak it off at the track depending on amount of time i have. You sacrifice some voltage but I am not good enough to notice. When i quit crashing then I will worry about that extra voltage.

its actually better to charge your battery at lower amps even if it takes longer..and the time it's taking sound about right, it used to take me an hour to charge a 3000 mah pack, but thats cuz i had it on like 2.5 amps..just my 2 cents

(3600/1000)/5 = 0.72 hours
0.72*60 = 43.20 minutes
