I already have a truck for bashing and now I would like a stadium truck for hauling a**.
Criteria:
-easy access to hopups
-somewhat durable(I don't want to be fixing all the time but I don't want a heavy car)
-won't have major transmission issues with a brushless system

Check out the T4. I use a brushless in it and it flies. No transmission worries here. Parts are accessible through just about any hobbyshop and also online. It takes its lickings and keeps on ticking.

I have noticed some probs with the Losi trucks in regards to breaking ball cups and hub carriers. I had an MF1 and I broke quite a few ball studs and had to replace the parts the end of the threaded end of the stud was stuck in, like a-arms. I broke some hub carriers, too. The ball stud issue might be resolved with titanium ball studs. I didn't want to invest in them.

I haven't broke anything on my T4, yet. (knock on wood) It's been through some good punishment for the last several months and it is still going strong. I have the Factory team T4.

everything I have read about the losi trucks is that they are great but are not durable, did they change this in the MF2?

I wouldn't give a nickle for a Lousi anything ! You can Always find something better ! Asc. rigs are WAY better , you won't have any diff troubles or ball stud troubles with them . I can hardly wait to see what Lousi has for a 1/8 buggy , probably going to be belt drive too LOL

matt- I'm assuming you didn't read the origional post???

He said he wants to use a brushless system, this usually refers to electric..... Brushless usually refer to nitro.....even though nitro is truely brushless.....

I disagree.

I have a T4, and one of my friends has a MF1 w/ a boat load of repairs. It seems like ever time we go out bashing around; he ends up breaking something on his truck, forcing us to go home. I have had to repair once.

Going into a basketball pole at 45+ mph is not a Good thing.

My vote is for T4. GO BRUSHLESS!

Another thing to look at is the tranny. I had to rebuild my tranny on my xxx-t almost every couple of months. Not so with the T4. I haven't had to rebuild it since I bought it. That's been at least 6 months or more. The diff is still smooth, but tight. The Losi diff seemed to always start to get gritty easily. I had a good seal in my bearings and the case. The grease wasn't dirty either, just worn. I used the stealth diff lube, but it didn't make a difference. It just wore out faster.

I still vote for the T4.
