Default First Wraith build... Mattzilla!

I never thought I would be building a crawler/trail type truck... until I saw the mattzilla frames and start noticing all the cool parts Vanquish makes. I have been working on this for several months and I am just about finished. I just have 2 more panels to install freqeskinz skins on and then bolt them up. And tape down the Holmes BLE and figure a way to stuff all the wires under the driver figure.

VP Currie Rockjocks

SuperShafty 6mm Output bombproof trans

Proline Powerstroke Shocks

VP Method 101 2.2's (1.2" wide version)

Assembled to Mattzilla Wraithzilla II chasis

I drew up all my panels in SolidWorks and waterjet cut them at work out of .025" thk galvanized steel sheet

I had to make a couple interior panels to try and keep some debris out of the cab area and also to hold the esc and lipo

Started installing the freqeskinz

Looks great, and should have a good amount of poke on 3s too.

Time to go scratch up those shiny axles

Thanks, Yea I was able to find a 3S 2200mah that would fit under the hood. Everything on this truck is such a tight fit its ridiculous. Hopefully gna take it out this weekend and test it out.

That thing must be heavy! LOL Very nice looking truck though.

I never thought I'd be into crawling either. Going slow bores me so I always wanted fast RC's. Then I tried crawling a few years ago when I bought an SCX10 and I've been hooked ever since. I don't think I've ever had more fun in RC.

Yea this was my first time on the rocks when I tested this truck out. Lots of fun. It is fairly heavy. I haven't weighed it yet but I am assuming around 10-12 lbs.
