Bomber's
I have noticed there isn't a bomber tread yet. Time to show off those bombers and some tips and tricks for us beginners.

I'm also wondering about parts comparability, I'm new to the rock racer/crawlers...

I love my Bomber so far. Only things I have done is throw on my Icon shocks to help lower it. Put on a Currie Antirock sway bar and switched out the 35t motor for a 27t I had sitting here. I still wanna do more, but want to upgrade motor and esc first. Its still slow lol.
Flexing in stock form lol.
Heres after the other shocks where installed.
And a pic of the sway bar.

Mine arrived yesterday. Got it "pre-owned" going through it greasing the axles and transfer case. Took it out for a spin before disassembling. It is slow especially when compared to a stock wraith! What battery are you running? Just ordered a 3300 50c 3s for it yesterday!

Yes I'm a regular on that forum to just figured we could get something started here. The crawler room isn't as fast as the rc crawler forums.

Opinion question. Go 2speed and keep a higher turn motor. Or go single speed with a faster motor

Im running 3s battery. But its still slow for me.
I will be going brushless and staying single speed. With a sensored brushless setup theres not really a need for the 2 speed.
I am looking at ordering a Holmes Hobbies setup. Wanted to go with their BLE Pro and Puller Pro 3500 motor. Alot of people are running it in the Bombers and love it.
The only thing I may change is the esc. I kinda want the mamba Monster X for the adjustable drag brake on the aux wire. That way I can go from bashing to crawling with drag brake and back again.

There isn't relly a "need" for the 2-speed at all, it's just nice to have something that everybody else doesn't have. The HH 3500 is a really good motor. Ive run one and Ive also run a Tekin Roc412, the cost on the Tekin is the only issue for me. Can't go wrong with HH products.

I am just having trouble spending big money on a brushless setup. then i think well the 2 speed is gonna cost $100 plus either a new servo or upgrade and use the Tactic as a shift servo. The axial 2 speed kit alone would get me the motor then i would just have to by the ESC. Would a Tekin RS spec gen 2 ESC be a good choice. I always hear a lot of people talk about how good Tekin stuff is.
