Default cheapest way to get in?

I was wondering what the cheapest way to get into crawling was? I already have a servo, receiver, radio, and esc. Looking for optionas under 150 maybe?

Maybe search eBay and craigslist for used or rollers.

The only way you can get that low is if you go buy a used roller, SCX10 or Vaterra, but then you'd have to know what you were in store

Otherwise, you can get an Axial Deadbolt RTR for around $250 and have the SCX10 platform to build off.

Cc01 are scale rigs. Not solid axle front end. They are made like a modern 4x4.solid rear axle and independent front. Getting in under 150 would be used rollers or look at the redcat line. They have one on ebay for around 130 rtr

I'm OK with a scaler too. Mostly going to be used for trail running

but now that i've upped my budget to approx. 275 are there any other options? I'm not a big fan of the chinese ripoffs.

Buying a used rtr rig was how I got started in crawling. For the past couple years I have either bought used or traded items for my crawlers.

The most I have done is went to the Deadbolt RTR which I was able to pick at my LHS for $270.

Redcat racing Everest 10. It's like a ax10 knockoff rtr and under 140. The lockers can be replaced with axial parts.
