Default Telluride ??

I know its not a true scale truck, but im looking to make it into more of a scale looking truck.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for body and wheels and tires that would work well. And any other ideas.
Thanks.

Subscribing myself. Just picked up another 4x4 slash I'm thinking about a Pede/Telluride conversion for it. I think standard 1.9's should be fine. I think the hardest part will be a body that will look scale and still hide the chassis.

Look around on Ebay for New Bright bodies. Most realistic looking ones I have seen. A huge market for pulled bodies. I wonder if the Summit locking difs would work in a Telluride? Or is it set up more like a slash?

Pretty much a short slash. Have not researched it to see if there is an actual locker that will fit in the rear. I am thinking silly putty in the front diff so it still has some action but locking the rear.

Thanks for the replys. I hoped i wasnt the only one thinking about something different, lol.
Yeah. Silly putty in the diffs for sure. The problem im finding for the body,,is most axial scx10 bodies have a wheelbase of alittle over 12", and the Telluride is around 11"

Do they make a clear Telluride body?

Been thinking about building one for awhile. Finally picked up another 4x4 slash to use as a donor. Gonna pull the snap on body and tires and wheels off if to save for now. May just leave the vxl in it but sure it be a cog monster at slow speeds and definitely don't want that.

Yeah. I have a non sensored system in mine now, and it cogs too much at slow speeds.
If that snap-on body is nice and you want to sell it, lmk, lol...

Those Snap On bodies fetch a high resell price. I have one of the 2wd original Monster Energy versions with audio, even has the box. It just sits there nagging at me lol.

I'm not sure on that Ber, but I always though it would be sick lol.

We'll see where this build goes. Body is nice but does have some scratches since it was used. Thought about running it on my ultimate slash. Just don't want to ruin it. Time to find a chassis to get started.

If you're going to be scaling it, avoid the Lcg. I had it on my old 4wd Slash and it killed ground clearance literally. But handled like a ferrari on pavement lol. Seems like someone had some new chassis' in the classified's. 3 of them, stock HCG ones.

I always wondered if those light scuffs could be buffed out or not.
