Here is some tires that I actually use for my Telluride but gives some and idea what I'm using and how they look. The Scorpios look more scale out of the 3 and the Badlands are the most aggressive overall. The Trencher X's are in the middle but what I started with first and they are a great all around tire and I really like them. The Badlands and Scorpios I have yet to actually take to the crawler park I go to so will need some time to see how they work so I can post on that.

From left to right is the Proline Trencher X's M# compound, Proline Badlands in M2 compound and J Concepts Scorpios in Green compound.

Pick a tire that doesn't have good side-bite. (out of those three, probably the Trenchers.) That might sound strange, but the Yeti REALLY doesn't need help maintaining traction in corners. Extra traction just makes it flip sideways.

I think if I was going to run it much I would use the Trencher X tires on it. Good rubber thickness, good forward traction but would be able to slide it around some.

I doubt I will really ever run it or my SCX10 but my Telluride will get run and I think I will probably by a Wraith to also run. Not sure yet about my Tamiya CC01 if I will run it once its built.

Going to be updating the Yeti in the near future. Still have a motor mount to install that I had ordered from STRC. I have it but just need to get it installed. Been working on all my other crawler projects so trying to fit it in.

Dude, just buy an SCX10. The Telluride is a cheap kid's truck, it'll never be any good at trail driving.

I have an SCX10 as well but it is mainly built up for show at the hobbyshop and won't be hitting the trails much if at all. I did order some goodies for it to. New tires will be coming soon and I already have the new Dodge Ram body I want to use on it.

Your 100% right the Telluride will never amount to anything and god for kids.

Have not done anything to the Yeti. Its been a nice truck for customers at the hobby shop I help out at to check out. It has sold many of rock racers and crawlers because of it.
