axial jeep sxc10 axle
I was wondering if anyone here encountered building the axle tried turning it but its like there something grinding inside or making it hard to twist.....
Is there any remedy to this or should i completely built the crawler and let it run...
I have tried opening , regrease , mix the front and back internal parts and when i tighten the all the screws again its hard to twist.....
Any advise? TIA!

Not sure how bad it is, but couple of tips.
You'll notice on a new kit that the ring and pinion gears might be a bit notchy - cast gears are just not to the tolerances of machined gears. It's perfecly normal to have them get a little rough here and there as they rotate when new. Rest assured they will break in fully after a run or to and will spin much freer.
- Be sure the pinion gear inner bearing is fully seated - can put a little extra pressure on the ring gears.
- If it is really tight, back off the 4 center screws 1/4 to 1/2 turn also - doesn't need to be clamped uber tight - just enough to snug the axle case together. Clamping them down too tight can distort the case and ring gear bearing holders.
