Im sure if I spent hours with trial and error which I bet would be more error than not, I could figure out what im sure many of you already know.
So here is my question are there anyother ways to mount a body without drilling holes in a body I just painted, plus I don't think it scale looking or realistic to have 4 clips on top of the body

velcro...
lexan plate adorned atop altered body posts
mounted in the factory BM holders.
The screws securing the top plate to the posts
are countersunk so the surface is smooth
thus allowing the velcro to adhere well.
I cannot post URL pictures/links here, yet...
so you'll need use your imagination.
I use this mounting method on both lexan and styrene bodies.
I use the original body pins out back on my lexan body...
but use velcro Fr/Rr on my styrene mojave body.
seems to hold fairly well for most abuse.
But may not stay secured during a 30 ft tumble.

+2 velcro is the easy way to go and works great for a crawler. a high speed basher on the other hand, not so much...
Check out Home Depot (or an equivalent store), they have heavy-duty velcro that will hold better than the standard cheap stuff if you need to, and it's more plastic like and won't fray up and collect lint and stuff as much.
