Hotrod, I dug those batteries out, one was bad, showed open on the charger and the other is a 7 cell hump battery with unknown history, charging now. I wasn't sure if you could use a hump battery or not, voltage wise? Plus it's kind of rough looking. Let me know to throw it in the box or toss it.
Eta found some new red/ black Deans Wet Noodle for ya, lol.

No sense paying more shipping if it's not a good battery. We can use 6 or 7 cell it wont make much difference honestly I'd just gear down a little more or use less motor. Shape and style won't matter either. Battery tray I use is a flate plate with Velcro.

Awesome, the other is still on the charger on a light charge, so far so good. I'll toss it in the box before it ships buddy.

I have a good losi am tx with the matching crystal you're more than welcome to. It came from a Losi micro that was trashed. So I just pulled the rx crystal and threw it in the battery compartment. I will check tomorrow, I may have some nihm's, but I need to cycle/ charge them and double check they are ok. I'll let you know on those.
Jerry I have a pretty good size box here that may fit all this.

Ok. I have a nihm battery on my table, can't guarantee that it's good but I'll send it. And I have two traxxas am transmitters but can't find the receivers if you want them I'll throw them in. Not sure they have the battery covers...maybe can find those somewhere or order them if you want them.

that is a good looking crawler!~ glad we could help. sorry there wasnt more we could throw in the box. but im glad we where able to make a difference with what we had. seeing a kids face light up with joy from receiveing his first rc truck is priceless compared to seeing $12.28 hit my pay pal account from some old parts laying around the shop. it's the little things the world has forgotten about i think. a simple smile, a honest hand shake, a meaningful thank you. thats what its all about. seeing someone happy.
