Depends on what you plan to do with it, I say get a Axial AX10 ridgecrest, this way you can either go all out comp or all out scaler, like i said depends on what you plan to do with it but i say AXIAL

I would go with a older version AX10 then, well you could go with the ridgecrest too i guess, IMO the gmade is a comp crawler not really good for a hillclimber like a FOFF, AX10 is the best for that from what i have seen,Hotrod87 has built several with no complaints

I know for a fact the gmade is not great on the rocks. With a good pair of shocks/tires it might not be too bad..

Um IMNSHO... uh hells ya! Just got mine in yesterday still waiting on the hex screw conversion kit to start the process though. But what I have heard is if you want a challenge then go with something a little truer to scale like a Honcho.

I'm running an R-1. I lengthened the rear link 10mm and it climbs like a goat. If you run the rear shocks in the travel set up and front in the droop set it will also make a good improvement.

i had one and i have to say its fun to have i had a 12 turn motor in it to blast up hill sides
