gonna have to. there only 3.5". thinking a set of dingo flairs will let me cut em out and cover up the cuts so i keep a good looking wheel well

yeah.

the dingo flairs aren't going to work like i want em to.
ill have to cut all the molded in flairs off and then the flairs will go all the way to the body line. i don't think that will look right so im gonna scrap that idea

If you were to spray the outside with grey primer w/ the white top, it would look almost exactly like my old K-5 Blazer. If I get a Dingo, I'm going to have paint one of these up.

Not meaning too thread jack but here is a picture of my scx10 / k5 with flares.

I only removed about a 1/4" off the front.

ended up building flairs, a roof rack with canoe holder, a small sub enclosure that hooks to my ipod, strapping a bike to the back and putting in a clodbuster grill
im gonna take it out for a nice beating Saturday
iv never worked with styrene before, so there far from perfect

Styrene is fun to work with!!
Are you using bondene?If not i would highly recomend it.
Flares look pretty good for a first try to.

thanks man. i ended up going back to the dingo wheelbase and just trimmed the rear wells to give me the room it needs to flex.

yup normal bondo works fine..The timya stuff is kind of crappy.I use the marine bondo.
