There basically the same rig, just different body's and the Honcho has a longer wheelbase. Myself, I would pick the Honcho and get the kit insted of the RTR.
. The RTR's suspension links and servo would need to be replaced rite from the start.The stock esc would get you buy for starters but Axial is not known for haveing good electronics. Replace other stuff as you break it like driveshafts, trans gears and outputs, leaky shocks, etc. Also add weight to the wheels/tires, 3.5oz to each front and 2oz to each rear would be a good starting point.
