Can you spray these motors out with motor spray (can slots will let dirt enter when used for off road) or is this a no-no like Novak Velociti motors?

So these might not be the best choice for off road having the open slots & fan to let dirt & mud in right? Can you suggest a brushless motor that is very well suited to off road but runs cooler than most motors?

I think these motors are fine. I race offroad and have not had a problem yet, You can always take them apart and clean them, but if your really worried about the open slots, I think a completly sealed motor will suit you best.

Yea, I could take it apart & clean it with a toothbrush. Would one of these 6.5 motors run cooler than a Novak Velociti 6.5 in a 4WD buggy? I'm looking for the coolest running motors available.

I have ran lrp the novak and the duo, and they are pretty equal in getting warm.The lrp got the hottest out of them.(for me) The duo was way smoother in my opinion. They are all great motors I can't knock any of them, but my preference is the duos.

Thanks for the info. I might cut out a slot in my chassis beneath my motor. Then see how that goes for temperature. I have the first version of the Novak Velociti motor. It doesn't have the heatsink ripples on the can. If I get a motor, I will try the Duo

Just a suggestion...

Whenever I am looking at buying something online, I look for information about the company.. Where they are located.. is there an address.. and more important a contact phone number..

None of this is on your website... (if it is.. i couldn't find it)

I like the pricing on some of your products.. but not comfortable with ordering from you...

Just a thought... I know many folks who look for the same when buying online..

No it doesn't, at least not for me. I just tried it because I wanted to call to make sure the item was in stock and checkout page requires some personal information that I'm not willing to give on a web site that is not secure.
