Default 1/8 onroad racing or semi organized practice?

Anyone planning on doing any 1/8 scale onroad stuff when the weather breaks? I have been out of the hobby for a couple years and have a few 1/8 scale cars that I want to race or play with, with others.

I am in North Denver but willing to travel a reasonable distance.

Let me know

Default 1/8 scale on road

PRS...send me a PM with a cell number or email. I too have an 1/8 scale that needs to stretch its legs. The track in Aurora is nice, but a bit small for 1/8 scale. It is OK for Nitro touring. I would definitely like to get folks interested in 1/8 scale here. It was king back in the Midwest.

CORRC ran nitro on road when we first started, but not enough interest. Running Nitro Touring at MHOR has been fun, but I have been traveling to race both 1/8th open and 1/8th GT Too many trips to Lincoln to count.

I live in Fort Collins, but could and would travel if we had something local.

Id like to know as well. Really want to get into 1/8 electric. Its a shame nobody around here runs 1/8.

Is anyone even running onroad nitro around here?

Yes, some pavement racing at Hobby Town down south and MHOR should be running the outside pavement track starting in May. Lots of 1/10 but we ran the 1/8 nitro GTs and I have an electric as well. Come and give it a try.

What course runs 1/8 onroad electric non-GT? Thinking about an ARC or Serpent.

MHOR would be the place this summer. You have the 3s lipo 200mm car, is that correct?

Watch for the 2016 Schedule but probably will not be posted until after the MHIC in April.

I have not been to any track around the country where these cars are run.

Save your money.

Very few places run the electric GTs,

Again save your money unless you want to play in parking lots or on the street.

I was told to run 2s, but yes, you are thinking of the right car. Its a 748 but electric from the factory. 30mm/26mm foams like nitro.
