Default Thanks for the help

So I was able to make it out to the track today and I had a great time. I would really like to say thanks to everyone that gave me advice and tips. If there is anyone that his been watching this forum and has been debating to go race I say go check it out. Everyone was very cool and helpful even though I had an antique of car out on the track.

Hey Brian, sorry I couldn't remember but what tooth count for the spur gear did you recommending for the set up I have. Thanks again for all the help....

Also the pics that were taken really didn't come out that good since my wife just got her camera and is still getting use to it. Next time out I will take mine and get some good pics.

And I can't post them yet since I don't have enough posts....

Thanks for coming out to the track. Glad to see more people taking intrest.

17t pinion and a stock 61t spur, or if you can find a 62-63t spur, use an 18t pinion

if you want, email me the pics, i'll post them

Jgarbs, i also figured out your car is not a TA01, but a TB01. if you plan to keep it, you can still get some parts. adjustable motor plate tamiya # 53403.

a tt01 spur gear will fit, but they only come in 55/58/61t. so run a 61t with that 17t pinion

Well, another fun day at the MHOR yesterday!!! Steve

Just so people know, Saturday's really are not a practice day at MHOR, that is the track's big race day of the week. You need to talk to Jess before hand, he doesn't mind if it is not too busy, but if you are not running on DSM, it conflicts with the most of the people that run Slash's, which has become a big class to race.

Also, let's make sure we keep it clean out there, Kenney, his Dad and others put a lot of time in cleaning it up out there, so let's keep it that way.

Those pics look great! Sorry I missed another day. The good news is that Manny, my neighbor is taking a large interest and I've got my TC4 up and running for him. It's running better than when I used to use it! Anyway, I could see the driver's stand in the background and it looks awesome! Please, if there's anything left to do out there let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help. Has the dumpster been dropped off yet? If not, I'll definitely be down to help load those piles of trash. I can't wait to get out again with you guys.

I can't believe I missed that link. The video is Fantastic! It's always cool to see your car in action pics or in video's. It was one of the few times I was not smacking into the wall. DOH!
