alright...i'm going with the novak slyder combo. i'll save the deal for you, mr4tcs, on the velineon system. what's a faster overall engine? i think the 6.5 is the fastest motor for the slyder series, but they have 6.5, 7.5, and 8.5. i would think the 6.5...

i want the fastest, because i can tone it down with my futaba system if i'm on a smaller track, but still hang on a large track if i need to...what do you guys think?:t ire:

do you think the 7.5 would be a better all around choice?

well, think of it this way, my 10.5 has plenty of speed and low toque to drift fast or slow. you dont want to be racing around. if it was me, id go with the 8.5 or 7.5

if the car is going to be strictly for drifting, an 8.5 is more than enough

Default Novak Slydr

Here's a link for a review of the new Novak Slydr combo. I'm thinking I'll just go with the 8.5 now. I just have to point and click...

Default CO-D Drift Meet Sunday Sept. 12th

Calling all drifters...

Let's all try and get together on Sunday October 12th in the early evening. I know of an underground we could go to. I'm recommending an underground of some kind due to unpredictable weather of October here in Colorado. I'm brining video cameras and still shots, so if you want publicity, come ready to drift!!! Let's get something finalized...

I'll at least have the vision peak ultra and my car, so if worst comes to worst we can use the car battery hook ups. I'm not really sure of any power on site other than that. That would be tight if we could get more peeps up here from the Springs. Hopefully, we'll have 5-10 people. FYI...I watched one of the videos from the RCU forum and they were using jumps. I will probably bring something for us to experiment with. I'll try to bring a take off and a landing ramp. I'll also be keeping an eye out for alternative locations just in case.
