Hey Tyler not to brag but I pulled a 7.9 in touring car last night had fun but I wish we could get some more people to run touring car I'm up for stock touring if people would be more comfortable with that

Awesome running event last night it seemed like we all had fun thank you all for comming.

Alright, I calculated the series standings for the Wednesday night series.
It looks like there is quite a bit of movement in the 19Turn 1/12th Scale class and everyone is pretty close in the other classes.
There are some of you that can still make a decent come back in the series with a couple really good race nights.

Friday Night Hot Laps

Since there is always a constant push to get the fastest consistent laps, the E-Team Hobbyplex is going to start hosting weekly Friday Night Hot Lap sessions.

For $5 drivers will be able to run in organized hot lap sessions.
Only two cars will be on the track at any time, and the idea is to get a feel for the track and push to get the fastest laps and most laps in a 4 minute session.
The number of entries will depend on the number of times drivers will be able to run.
For example, if 10 people show up to run hot laps, there will be 5 sessions. The sessions will be repeated as many times as possible throughout the night.
Re-pairing of drivers may occur depending on how fast everyone is running.

The hot laps sessions are very beneficial since there are only two cars on the track at any given time. Eventually, drivers get to the point of pushing each other faster and faster around the track making everyone a better driver. This is also a very useful time for drivers to tune their cars for Sunday racing.

Happy New Years from the E-Team HobbyPlex!

We had a lot of fun racing tonight. Thanks to all of you who came out to celebrate the new year with us. I will post the race results tomorrow (or technically today).

Just wanted to let you all know that with the new year, the E-Team has been making some alterations to help things flow a little better. We moved the timing table up to the pit benches and set up a tech station next to the timing table. I would like to see a good turnout this weekend so we can start getting ready for the Handout Motor Series. There will be updated information available this Sunday at the track.
