CORRC Club Meeting September 15th, after racing at Hobby Town Westminster.

Carpet has been ordered and will be here to start racing in November at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds at East Quincy and E-470.

Race dates:Nov 11, 25; Dec 9, 30; Jan 13, 27; Feb 10, 24; Mar 9, 30th. The March 30th date MAY become a 3 day race, check here to follow up.

Mark, you mentioned Hobby Town possibly letting us run the races and collect the fees.

If they would actually let us that would be great. Do you know if they plan to continue the asphalt racing next year? Is it a losing situation like the carpet for them?

So these will be the classes we should discuss next week.

Touring
1/10 Touring 6 cell or Lipo - 27 turn brushed / brushless, Rubber tires
1/10 Touring 6 cell or Lipo - 19 turn brushed / 4300 - 10.5 brushless, Foam tires
1/10 entry class 1/10 4 cell 27 turn - rubber tire
1/10 entry class 1/10 6 cell 27 turn - rubber tire
1/10 Masters class 1/10 4 cell 19 turn / 4300 - 10.5 brushless, Rubber Tire?

Pan Car
1/12 Stock w/brushed and brusless, 4 cell
1/12 19 turn brushed, 4300/10.5 brushless, 4 cell
1/10 19 turn brushed, 4300/10.5 brushless, 6 cell or lipo

Formula Libra (OPEN) or (REV CLASS) - 1/12 pan, 1/10 pan, 1/10 Touring Any 540 can based motor or similar brushless, max 6 cell or 7.2 volt Lipo, NO NITRO!!

Any Mod?

When it comes to the brushless stuff obviously we're going to allow it in most classes. Will be be allowing any 10.5 or 13.5 motor? I know not everyone is using the Novak stuff.

We need to talk with Gary and Justin at HT about running 2 or 3 races and being able to keep the entry fee's. If we can do this it is a win / win for everyone.

As to next year, I would plan on HT running races just as they have done for the last number of years. We as a club need to decide if we want to run races on the pavement and work towards a permant race facility. If we can keep the interest growing from where we are currently, I would guess in 2009 we could probably pull this off.

Along that same line, we need to REALLY do a good job with Arapahoe County, as they could help us with a club track!!!

If more guys knew what the track was like in Lincoln and could visualize a track like that here I'm sure there would be a strong effort.

I agree on pictures of the track....RRR....Hiller....REV? anyone have some?

The system came with Autoscore. Not great, but it will function till we can purchase RC Scoring Pro. Also, I'm missing one house transponder, can be any number we just need to assign it to #3 yellow.

I know that LRP uses the same 13.5 or 10.5 as novak along with orion and trinity but are they all comparable for power as the numbers state?

Best person to talk to is probably REV. As he has played with more brushless stuff than anyone else I know.

Z - Thanks!! I'm not sure we can pull off ashpalt track in 2008, but 2009 is very possible, so thanks with the help on the pavement mix and some pictures for those who have not been there yet.

What about Greeley. It is a nice asphalt and with good sugar water it would be excellent. I will check into it if anyone is interested.
