31 entries on a Thursday is pretty good!

Last night was a lot of fun, and it seemed like the racing was cleaner and more courteous. I think having a layout that's a little more open really lends itself to that. I promise, though, that I won't draw up any more chicanes at the extreme far side of the track! That's probably the hardest chicane I've ever seen.

I'll second a good night of racing. Thanks to all who ran VTA .... nice to know the world is Good as Starnes is still King of VTA. Brent was giving him a run for part of the eveing, me not so much.

See everyone next Sunday for the club meeting.

Chicanes before the straight can be good practice. Several national races do it, so a track with one every once in awhile is good for everyone.

I would like to continue running VTA for the next few weeks if possible to get ready for Cleveland Indoor Champs race. It's clear I have some setup and gearing changes to make based on Mike's steller perfromance last night.

Please bring your cars out again on Thursday and Sunday next week.

Thanks,
Brent

This Week at CORRC.....

Thanks to all the metro racers that made the journey up to Fort Collins this week end. It was a great time as usual, good to see old friends, and made some new ones. Thanks to the E-Team crew.

Thursday Nite.... Racing - remember that we have lower race fees on thursday for the month of November.

Sunday... Meeting and Racing - Officers and Board Members Meet at 9am (at the track), General Membership Meets at 10am (at the track). Main topics will be nominations and big Spring Race.

This Sunday is the last day of the 13.5 Rubber Series, there are close races across the whole field. Next week we will start the 12th scale series.

i would also like to pass along a pleasant phone call that i had with lowell this afternoon.... basically thanking the club for supporting their race and facility, and being kind, courteous, and clean.

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but you will still be running 13.5 rubber races? I assume just not for points?

Ive been traveling and haven't had a chance to come race yet, but I will be home next week and looking to come play.
