I'm the guy that stopped by this afternoon.
Thanks for giving me all the info on classes, cars and all the other stuff.
I took the leap right after I left there, but I didnt get the TC5 (sorry Mark, but thanks for the setup sheet). I got a pretty good deal on a XRAY T2'008, so at least I have something to do in Ca besides work next week. Now, if I could just find someone to paint me a "cool" body.
Anyway, I look forward to getting out there and doing some racing.
i know someone who paints sick bodies..........inexpensive as well

This Thursday, we are going to race VINTAGE TRANS AM.
We have more than enough commitments to run (minimum for a class is 4)
including Mark W from Ft Collins, his friend from D.C., Brent K., from FT. Collins
Chris D., Me, Ryan B., SO, come on out!!!
If you have an old Touring car, or a VTA car, bring it out, lets race!
The rules are basic, VTA tires, VTA body, 21.5 with a lipo.
If you want to run, and are not sure if your car is legal, post it here and /or
bring it out, it will fit into some class.!!
SEE YOU THURSDAY!! VINTAGE TRANS AM THURSDAY NOV 5, 2005
WE WILL ALSO HAVE THE REGULAR CLASSES Touring car, WGT, 1/12th scale
You CAN'T be between the ages of 43 & 45 to race vintage. It's been proven that RC racers in this age group periodically turn left or right when be passed.
Being these are Vintage vehicles there very expensive and therefore can not be damaged.
Maybe next year.

Mr. Lucas,
You qualify to race Vintage Trans Am in every sense of the phrase.
You are Vintage, your car is Vintage, Your style is Vintage, but you can still run your car. (and fast I might add)
Rumor is, there IS a Vintage Trans Am (full size) in your garage? I would say you definitely qualify regardless of your advanced age!
OK, so far we have:
1)Gary L. 2)Brent K. 3)Mike S. 4)Mark W. 5) Mark's D.C. friend 6) Ryan B.
7) Chris D.

Thought this might be interesting for the 1S LIPO drivers at the track...
I found this while reading through the information for the new LRP SXX Stock spec speed control.
The revolutionary and exclusive “TwinBEC” operates down to 3.0V which means that there is no need for a receiver pack with even 1S packs! It’s high-technology switching design works more efficiently at all input voltages which also results in lower working temperatures. The new Internal-Temp-Check-System 3 has been further optimised and now not only displays the speed controls maximum operation temperature but also the maximum temperature reached by the motor.
