I just thought I would list the times of the race for any one who doesn't want to go to the SpeedChannel site and drown in NASCAR ads!

I'll list them all in Eastern Standard Time.(est)

Gran Prix of Australia:

-Live practice @ 9pm est on Thursday Feb. 28th.

-Live qualifying @ 9pm est on Friday March 1st.

-F1 preview @ 9:30pm est on Saturday March 2nd.

-Live Gran Prix @ 10pm est on Saturday March 2nd.

All these times are straight from SpeedChannels site. Make sure you check your local listing to see what time these things show in your particular area.

bah, i won't miss it, itv always advertise it before the race alot.

the thing is I don't watch TV hardly ever now. Just the F1 racing and the soccer games....thats it.

Soccer?? Soccer!? SOCCER!?!?!?!?!?!? Excuse me, its just.....ARGHGHGH, but I suppose thats what you use commonly around the states.

I love football (not american fusball) and I watch it every saterday, and every Arsenal UEFA cup game. I also love to see them Italian and Spanish teams play, they got so many good players.

So sorry...Football. My dad is english and calls it football...but since I grew up in a american culture....I got beat by all the other kids when I said football instead of soccer. The English premire league is my favorite to watch. So many great teams and so so many great players. Watching the occasional Argenitinia games are fun to. Those are some DIE HARD fans there

I hope we will all come back and hit this thread after each race is over, so we can chat about the results.

Please though, lets keep it friendly. We have all seen those dedicated F1 boards, where the board members seemed to have formed an entire language using four letter words.

So please don't give the moderators any reason to shut this thread down.

We can't even get Speedvision from the cable company here. Every other channel but SV. Once in a blue moon one of the casinos has F1 via Satellite. I used to fly part-time for Chip Ganassi when he had Vasser and Zanardi then Montoya in Cart. After Zanardis horrific crash last year, I didn't think he was going to make it. He is one of the nicest and funniest guys you would want to meet. And Montoya is just plain crazy. Wearing one of his F1 hats to the Nascar Races this weekend. I am not a big Nascar fan but just love the close racing. I hope a good old boy won't tear it off my head. Last year a drunk gave me **** for just wearing a BMW F1 t-shirt.

They gave you crap about wearing your F1 stuff, because they know F1 is better. I used to be a huge NASCAR fan. But, its gotten so commercial now, that I just cant get into it like I used to.

I like close racing too. But, not so close that crashes are bound to happen.

I'm not a Montoya fan, but he doesn't seem any crazier than any of the other racers out there.
