I had to call him out. He quit...winners never quit and quitters never win.He showed his real colors today..rather then fight, he fleed. Typical Liberal
You are 100% right... it was the other more "color" words you used that got it closed. You could of said that right there word for word, and everything would of been fine

Pick any of those and explain why they are bad. Believe it or not, some people think many of those are good things
Yep... oXY is a perfect example. I once told oXY why I consider myself a conservative.... and how I supported a strong American culture, strong border, strong military (but how we need to keep to ourselves a bit more), against illegal immigration, against big goverment and wasteful spending, support big reward for hard work, and admired America's strong worth ethic...
And you're right.. oXY thought they were all bad things. That is why I think he is so painfully misguided. He literally has NO IDEA what he stands for on his own. I said "oXY... these are the things I support and admire and what I feel make this a great coutry... what do YOU support, in the contrary, as a liberal?" and he couldn't give me any type of answer. zip zero nada.

I was talking to d4man but let me see if I can put a liberal spin on some of these issues. Remember, these are NOT my views.

How many czars do we have now, what are the limits of their powers, they were not elected, so who do they answer to and what is their purpose? Their purpose is to stop the big, bad corporations from continuing to make a profit off of the sweat of oppressed workers
Look at what he has done to the economy, he shoved the stimulus bill down out throats and still the unemployment rate climbs, the Omnibus bill was another $400 Billion + dollars, he has spent more in 8 months than Bush spent in 8 years, he has quadrupled the debt, he is printing money like there is no tomorrow which is going to lead to massive inflation, he had all but taken over our auto industry and handed it to the unions, all to prevent an even bigger collapse Cap and Trade is the biggest ponzi scheme of all time, no, it will save the planet he wants to destroy our health care system, No, he will fix it and on and on it goes
Can someone explain anything he has done that is positive?
One of the biggest differences between the "left and the right" is a problem that seems to plague the democrats..for lack of better words its entitlement..
Entitlement issues are increasingly a concern of psychologists and therapists. Pastors and some educators report similar concerns. We seem to have come to the place where we feel entitled to the good life. We're entitled to have everything work for us. If it doesn't, someone must be to blame, and you can be sure of at least this: Whoever is at fault, it isn't us.
What a crazy idea!
Imagine a pile of presents under the Christmas tree as large as Bunker Hill that's taken for granted. That's just the way it's supposed to be. Every kid has a right to presents by the heaps, and even that will disappoint if the latest, coolest thing isn't to be found.
A person standing on a beautiful beach in Hawaii with a frown on his face, muttering, "I really liked our spring vacation better" -- that's an entitlement issue, too.
I read that these days mental health types see young people on a regular basis who are absolutely certain their lives should be better than they are and someone else is to blame. But not only young people. This seems to be an intergenerational dysfunction. Working in an upscale retirement home can be a tough gig! Talk radio shows and their jocks specialize in identifying the culprits and not very often are they us. And when it's our own children who have stepped in it, the self-righteousness of parents can be a wonder to behold.
The upshot is a culture of complaint. We have, it seems, grown fluent in the language of blame, complaint and grievance, while having lost our linguistic capacity when it comes to words such as, "Please," "Thank you," and "I'm sorry."
We also seem increasingly disabled when it comes to those locutions that express personal responsibility for our part in the problems that beset us. After all, how can we possibly say, "It's my fault," when we've been weaned and schooled on self-esteem? If I'm OK and you're OK, then it must be "Them."
A sense of entitlement means that we feel that we have a right or a claim to something, whether it's the best school, a grand home, preferential treatment, or the good life.
How has this pervasive sense of entitlement come to pass? Is it self-esteem run amok? Is it the emphasis on "rights" in speech and thought? Is entitlement a corollary of affluence or a consequence of consumerism? Does it owe to being the world's sole superpower? Whatever the cause, this much seems true: Entitlement is the handmaiden of the ego, the sign of a neglected, malnourished soul.
Entitlement signals a rejection of the very DNA of America. Our national genetic code, at least at one time, was patterned on respect for the common man and woman. It was sequenced by a belief in the dignity of human life that's not the consequence of having, but of being.
As I have gotten older it does upset me when someone like OxY thinks that they are entitled to a "good" life without putting any effort into it other than breathing..free public transportation..free health care..low cost housing and just how much effort do they put forth..

In a Public Speaking class, we were forced to take and defend positions opposite to our beliefs, and our grade depended on our ability to debate repugnant POVs.
Any hint of the tactics Oxy used, and it was an automatic loss. D4man's too.... (sorry 'man. If that thread was judged the same way, I would have lasted 30 secs longer than you did... maybe). I'm just as guilty of letting his sanctimonious attitude get to me.
I like where this new thread is headed.

You need to change the title to "Right Wing Support Group Thread" Or "A right wing shoulder to cry on" Since nobody is arguing with your R. Limbaugh talking points. But if it makes you feel better, then COOL, maybe you'll spend less time crying at tea parties and crashing town hall meetings, and start doing something constructive. I know Hannity and Limbaugh are enjoying what you guys are doing... gives them something to talk about besides healthcare. I swear, this is the most boring right wing radio in MONTHS.

You mean to tell me you have to get on ANOTHER website to come up with you own opinion to the questions given to you?
The Drudge Report is a website featuring news articles from other news sources. You know, the ones the "mainstream" media usually ignore. Drudge is not an opinion site.

How in the hell do you figure Obama is better than Bush????
Do any of you Bush Haters understand that's exactly what the liberals want you to think???

Ok granted. But he still do not formuate his own opinions even armed with that information.....it's usually "copy > paste" with him......
Like for instance what would HE do to solve the illegal immigration problem?
If he was to created a better health plan than Obama, how can he assure the average taxpayers that his system wil be exploited by those who wants to abuse the system; citizens, politicians and illegal immigrants alike?
What can he do to to help boost the ecomony WITHOUT additional stimulus packages?
I heard somone mention this earlier (about the military forces downsizing); what is going to do with the infux of American troops returning from the combat zones and finding out that they are no longer needed? How is he going to prepare thousands of American troops to compete in the current American workplace?
These are the same questions that is currently being asked (rather bombarded) of Obama....now I want to hear D4mans solutions instead of constant bantering......the same can go for the rest who rather find pleasure in accusing one another of being left/right. You a can gripe on forever on whos a liberal or who is a conservative, but nothing is going to change unless you do something about it.
