yup, the bearings are in the pillow blocks

you are just confusing me with the pillow bocks man

are the flanges bearings THE pillow blocks
and i was thinking 2 inch long one inch diameter shaft

Yes, they are the pillow blocks

You need a shaft/roller that will reach all the way across the channel.

ekd, if i make the 1 inch shaft go over the out put shaft of the engine, i pin it out side the channel, that means i have to have 1 inch bearings right?

you will need to pin the roller, or glue the motor shaft in to it

You machinist will prob want to "roll" pin it.

LOL.. you ARE getting it!

Actually, you can pin it, or glue it.. cuz you have the ability to unscrew the motors output shaft!

P, if you couldn't unscrew that output shaft, you'd be stuck with 1"

My plan is now, get 3/4 inch bearings

the motor shaft is about 1/2 inch the 1 inch roller ends will be lathed down to 3/4 inch to fit in the bearings

The now 3/4 inch end will have a 1/2 hole drilled in it to hold the shaft

sound good?

C channel's legs are tapered.
