no im not gonna sue you. my dad is talkin about suing the manf. of the cutter though. the sheild broke right off. in which case ill thank you!

and yup i had eye protection, always do. just no arm or chest protection.

lol thanks i called that place and they like laughed at me when i asked if they had any old tractor pillow blocks i was like what ever and just hung up

What were you using? 2" disc?

Frankly, I think you should sue, and I'm not the litigious type. A PLASTIC shield??? Where did you get the tool?

hmmm. Not very businesslike. Amateurs.

OK, the internet hunt begins. Start with "industrial supply" and remember to search "flange mount" as well as "pillow block".

And, you won't lose too much by using bushings instead of bearings, if the cost diff is large. You'll just have to grease them once in a while.... they'll have a fitting built in.

OK, save them in case you sue, but don't use them.

there is no excuse for a wheel shattering. good ones have fiber re-enforcement so if you do that (it's common), they lose a chunk, and shake the tool violently. Did those come with the tool?

ok. nope they didnt come with the tool. they arent from the same company either. so my lawsuit would be to the disc manf.?
