I think part of it is both GT Legends and 18WoS:ALH require too many buttons to be used during play. I've got a Logitech MOMO FF steering wheel for my laptop and it has just enough to comfortably play Legends, but 18WoS I have to play using the keyboard. There's just too much stuff going on to use both the wheel and the keyboard.

You should try this wheel,its incredible!! My friend has one and loves it. I want it for 360 so bad and I have been thinking of buying a PS3 just to have it for GT5,whenever they decide to release it
Got it as a Christmas present from the 'rents. I told them if they weren't willing to ante up for a G25 I'd be happy with the MOMO. Either way, my old wheel was a Microsoft Sidewinder FF and it was getting pretty worn. Newer games like GT Legends, GTR2, and RACE: The WTCC Game were burning out the force feedback software and I was losing effects mid-race. Kinda throws you when you're halfway through a sweeping corner and all of a sudden the wheel doesn't want to self-center or you can't feel curbing anymore.

The replayability on it is just amazing. I got it when it first came out, and I still enjoy playing it today. If you like scifi, shooting and RPGs. Go for it!

So if this is the g25 where is the clutch pedal? Is this a lower end model?
No, that's the MOMO, which only has gas & brake. I said I told my folks if they didn't have the X-mas funds for a G25 they could get me the MOMO instead.

All SimBin/10tacle Studios games that I've mentioned above come with premade profiles for the G25: RACE: The WTCC Game, RACE 07: The STCC Game, GTR2, GT Legends. They all have axial clutch movements and can have individual buttons assigned to each gear in the transmission (which is how the G25's shifter works; each position on the shifter registers as a unique button push)
Another good game would be Cross Racing Championship 2005. It's a cross-racing game, so it's got a little bit of everything: You jump out of a touring car and into a sand buggy, then from the buggy pick up a classic rally car. Once you climb out of the rally car, go jump a prerunner truck. Then go from the prerunner to a safari rally SUV. Or drive a sub-compact ice racer. And once you've conquered the game, you're rewarded with an open wheel time-trial roadster. All vehicles can be upgraded and tuned, and even re-tooled to be used for an unintended purpose. You can slam the suspension on the prerunner and drive it on the paved road course, or throw dirt tires on the touring car and go rally racing with it.
