Default Realistic Concept Cars....

I wanted to start a thread parallel to the "Bailout Thread" concerning practical concept cars. I was trolling the web and found this car to really piss me off:

Be honest......who will buy this car??? Me.....I think it's nice. Certainly gives the Civic the run for its money. Unfortunately....THIS is a concept car! It makes me wonder what the CEOs are thinking when designers throws cars like these in front of them.

Have any of you seen practical concept cars that should be on the showroom floors now? If so, post a pic......

I would buy that car right now no questions asked. I'm a Nissan man, that looks like it would be a nice daily driver and a nice sports car to take to the track.

The car is pretty bad ass...problem is that no one care to gauge the general public on what they like. Aside going elsewhere for labor and the aforementioned statement (why would you pay someone to 30 to 40 dollars an hour to install a car seat), that is why car companies are in trouble now.

Here is a couple more shots of it:

Mopar.... I would have thought that you will be behind one of these:

Too bad that this was a 1999 Pontiac GTO concept..... they would have made money off of this one if it would have been put through the public eyes and in production. Sure wouldn't be asking for money now if they had...

Don't let your wife drive it then.

eww. thats ass ugly. thats way to futuristic now, not to mention how it was back in 99. they should bring back the 04-07(?) gen. GTO. that was nice. do a little body work and BAM! a nce car to bail your ass out.

I don't know.....yes they should have done away with the geeky front and side trim on the 99 GTO Concept, but with that stance and look, I wouldn't have challenged it. If you look closely.....you can see the new Camaro coming out of it.......

Now that I look at it more, the entire front end could be a little more slender and I would find a better placement for the foglights, preferably further away from each other....but it'll look like the new Camaro....
