I have to agree about this race.I fell asleep after the first 50 laps only to see them get in single file.It was interesting until then.Then woke up with about 50 to go.The last 10 laps were the best.I hated seeing Newman and Martin upside down.

If they get rid of restrictor plates how will Jr.win. It would be interesting to see how fast they could go without the plates.

The announcers say the wing is what caused Newman to flip.I think when he landed on Harvick it softened the impact when the front end came down.It goes to show how safe the cars are.The roof collapse surprised me though.My wife saw the wreck and asked me why they don't make all cars that safe.LOL.Martin's wreck man that was a hit.Martin seems to be having fun what an interview.It's a shame he hasn't won a championship.

They said on one of the shows that Rusty Wallace ran 229 without a plate doing some sort of GPS test and he was backing off in the corners.

i'm sure we could find better announcers that don't beat around the bush or water down the facts or tip toe around reality. That would be a welcome change. Just like letting the drivers/crew show their passion. I'm sure all that announcer crap is covered in the tv contracts unfortunately..

It doesn't matter what's on the back of the car, they weren't designed to go backwards. Wing or Blade, the air still has to go around or over it. Its just amazing that the thing flipped exactly level. Must be part of that new COT weight bias restrictions too lol.
