Well jeepers! Been into everything RC on & off for over 30 years so I suppose I don`t qualify as a "rookie". Always have had great fun at the field or track because the folks there were cool but this RC hobby forum deal seems attract some unfun type folks.

Anyway, been reading here longer than I have been a member and now I am buying to build several brushless trucks. One will be a gift for a friend that I hope will start racing. At the local track I would like to race at everyone is into nitro so I plan on taking two trucks with me to the track. One for me and one to offer any of the nitro lovers that wants to run it (for the day not to keep ) hoping I can convert some of these guys to electric. Buying nice stuff according to everything I have read here but I want to do some of my own playing with motors/batteries/ESC`s combos. Oh yeah, nice group at this forum. Sure glad everyone I have met at the hobby shop & track has been cool!
