Ya know what I hate?
When you go to a car dealer ship and the price of the car is 30,000.00
And buy the time your done dealing its 22,500.00.
I don't know about you guys but that seems like gouging?
I mean if they can sell it for that why not price it at that?
And sell some cars. I mean really can some one make sense to me how this is right?
Its bold face under handed.
And what if they could really sell it for less that would me they over priced it even more just in case they got beat down on the sale?

And I think its funny watching them run back and forth talking to the supervisor. Any one sell cars and willing to tell us whats really said in the back office.

well it's the same thing as them selling it at 30,000 you are alway's going to try and talk them down as much as you can . Every time I sell something I put it up for more than I really want to get out of it, because it is human nature to try and get the best deal that you can get. Make since now?

They list it at that price because there are some people who are willing to pay that amount. Yes the dealer walks away laughing but some people have enough money to not care.

It seems like they have a lot of cushion in there prices for slow times.
It just seems people would buy more cars if they were to price them at what they are capable to in the start.
Its like they mark them up to give a rebate or sale price. That we're not really getting?
And what does that say for a dealer that will let one guy out the door at one price and another in the same car at a higher price?

I worked retail for a while. One day a guy was complaining how much a small computer accessory was. He bluntly asked if he could get 50% off of the price because it was rediculous. I said no, but I could give him 50% off of double retail. He said sure!
