Yeah man 3 lids will be fine! I use one for the whole season (25 race meets) (nitro offroad). It may be screwed by the end of season but it still kinda works.

I could make the whole season with one but threw trades and stuff on painting I accumulated a lot of lids. I actually have 4 lids for one kit right now. I may sell one or 2 but I figure what the heck may as well run a variety....
1/10th off road the only thing you need is wings. They go fast. I have I think about 8 lined up for paint right now. I will e running black the whole season I think? I may reserve a couple for just in case.

Mopar, did cummins ever make truck engines (I mean freight trucks, not pickups), I saw some late 80's british truck (it was an ERF I think) and it had a 'powered by cummins' sticker on the side.

In 2010:

No more Cat truck engines. Can't meet E spec. They'll be coming out with their own POS truck though. Rumored International engines in it.

The Detroit Series 60 and 50 will cease production. It won't take long for the rest on the road to die off. Shame, these guys made me some money.

Cummins ISX,QSX,and Signature Series are still going strong.

Thats about all I've heard about tiny little semi truck engines lately.

Mercedes Benz and Volvo are making great engines lately. John Deere has some bigger mills coming out as well.

Spun wrenches on one of those today.

400Kw DDC 8V92TA Twin turbo, supercharged, 2 stroke diesel. Weird engine. I like em fine as long as I don't have to set the rack or valves.
