Default Vacuum Forming

Does anybody have info on Vacuum forming...ie. books, sites etc.I've got the basics as to the forming jig.What i'm curious about is the materials used in the the 'plug"or the piece to be formed????any info would be greatly appreciated.

For information on vacuum forming you might check on books and magazines for RC airplanes. I have seen articles on how to do canopies, blisters and things like that. The plugs can be made out of a lot of materials but I think hardwood like mahogony can be used. It can be carved and would be good for details.
