Regarding this rule, a few us from Vancouver that attended the Victoria race are thinking about coming up. Tires were purchased at that time. We are wondering if we can use the tires that were purchased in Victoria? We don't run these tires in the lower mainland and we really don't want to spend another $70 in tires for one race (touring stock/touring mod).

Don't quote me. But I think the ruling is ...

Tires must be given at the end of the previous event. Put in a sealed bag And kept by Wcics official. Upon the date of the next event. You will be given your tires back !! Is this somewhat correct. Maybe a Wcics official can give a better explanation.

This simply means. That if you have a used set of tires They must be Wcics used. But you can't just bring them to the race and use them.

Unfortunately, re-use of tires from a previous event is not allowed unless they are signed back in at the end of that event. (as posted by bambi).

Use of a single set (4 tires) for both TC Mod and TC Stock is allowed should a racer want to reduce costs. However, once racing starts, there will be no option to purchase a second set.

Dustin is correct. The tires must have been placed in a sealed shipping envelope and signed by the race director or WCICS rep over the seal.

Default Used tires

Since Vancouver doesn't run the 28's you guys could try listing them on the buy and sell section. The tires usually have a ton of life in them after an event. KRC, PRCC and TVRCRCRCRCRC all run that as spec locally so there could be a lot of guys looking for tires.

Thanks for the replies. I typically don't go up to this race and I wasn't planning on attending again this year so I didn't bother to check the tires in immediately after the Victoria race. Since there were a few of us that were interested in coming up, I thought I would check the tire rule.

Anyway, good luck with the race.

It's a short haul for an excellent race, I highly recommend considering it! Cheers.

Wondering if a WCICS Rep. can answer a question for me (and others...)
Is there a Ride height requirement for the Rcar class?

Well since it is the demo class someone from your club will need to comment on this. I'm willing to bet because they are sedans it'll be 5mm though.

Question about Rcar, is it maximum 17T? or only 17T?

The spec motors we run in this class are the Reedy Radon 17T.
