Sounds like 6 racers confirmed from Edmonton going to Lethbridge for 2006 TriCity. So thats three hotel rooms so far. Any news on a block booking in the Bridge? I will get some more info on who else might be a coming when club racing starts up again Friday.

Hey how does $65.00/dbl occ at the Super 8 a night sound. I have a block of 12 rooms on hold, you must book before Jan. 11 to get this rate call 403 329-0100 please ask for the Western Canadian Indoor Championship rate.

Tanks Tom. I will give the Hotel a call next week as I need to confirm some numbers from Edmonton. I heard that some Hotels give a room free if you book so many rooms and they are filled you get one room free. That way the guys (or others) in the free room have to buy the beer and cut the coms for the rest of the out-of-town drivers.

Hey boys and girls...I just wanted to clarify a couple rules before the next series race.
Motors
Stock motor classes:24 degree locked endbell only, 27 turn single machine wound arms-NO HAND WOUND ARMS, NO BALL BEARINGS-bushings only, no mix and match motors, the motor must be in its original configuration from the manufacturer-no p2k arms in a monster can, no monster arm in a p2k arm etc...motors from tuners are allowed as long as they coform to the above rules. No brushless of any kind-brushed motors only.
19 Turn classes: 24 degree locked endbell only, 19 turn single machine wound arms, NO HAND WOUND ARMS, ball bearings or bushing type are allowed, no mix and match motors allowed, the motor must be in its original configuration from the manufacturer-no atlas arms in a C2 can, etc... motors from tuners are allowed as long as they conform to the rules above. No brushless motors of any kind-brushed motors only.
Modified classes: any conventional brushed or brushless type 540 can size RC electric motor allowed. No turn limit.
10 pan open: any conventional brushed or brushless type 540 can size RC electric motor allowed. No turn limit.

Your right $65 is very cheep I payed more than that for the beers and sausage last year, thanks for organizing that Tom. 3 rooms are spoken for. They are going fast so anyone else who wants one better give the Super 8 a call soon .
