Beware MYLAPS Shipping:
I just got off the phone with Mylaps. They only ship Internationaly with UPS. Tho you may choose USPS the website lies.
You will be charged an extra $40 from UPS if upgrading your transponders.
If we send enough emails to [email protected] complaining about this shipping issue to Canada they might change shipping methods in the future, but all the decisions come out of Holland.

Ryan,
There will be some talk about this in the WCICS meeting next week so please arrange to call in or give me a call this week, Blake and myself will be attending the meeting in Calgary.
From what I have heard ( nothing to do with WCICS at this point) most clubs are looking to take advantage of the AMB discount and switch to RC4... I think we all have to be "all in" to make this work.. or racers will have to carry around 2 sets of transponders ( RC4 & old style) depending on the track...
Anything AMB will work with the new RC4 system... what this affects in people with the clones ( MRT ) which seems to be a lot of racers... These racers will take advantage of the trade in program ( $35.00 to trade to a RC4) or $85.00 for a Hybrid upgrade that will work with both old and new systems..
I assume AMB will phase out the Hybrid in a matter or time to make way for RC4 only transponders that would make sense.
It's basically now or never. ( Never being expensive for both the racer and the clubs)

When speeking to our rep they told us that the hybrid rc4 will only be availible till next year and then only rc4 transponders after that. That being said if you don't upgrage you decoder you will not be able to support the only thing available to run in a year, and from what I know the upgrade program is only available until the end of march otherwise it will cost the clubs $3000 to get a new decoder.
