No problem Des, Logan and I needed to use some power tools today. The only stipulation is that I am donating them to the series, so you will have to keep them with the road rails and bring them to the race days going forward.

Car is 99% built and ready. Just masking the body and hopefully paint it tonight.

I am stoked about this rally season. Renewed my subscription to VRC to get more wheel time then the F1 series. Virtual Redneck racing isn't all that different from rally. I still wouldn't be caught dead buying a Short Course truck, but when it comes with a video game, it's all right. LOL!!

I'll probably still suck at racing, but at least my confidence will be high at the first race!!!!

Back to masking .... Ughh!!!

Well, the Castle Creations powered Mitsubishi Lancer XV-01 car is pretty much ready for testing and tuning.

Can't wait for next weekend.

Later boys.

I've got mine torn apart on my "workbench".....body is half masked and my electronics are half ready (ie, everything is pulled, nothing new is installed)

I was looking around this morning for something that might even come close to the XV-01.....
K car is 260mm wide, 316mm wheelbase
HPI is 227mm wide, 300 wheelbase.....
Xv01 is 185 wide, 257 wheelbase..............

Really looks like Rally is a 1 horse race.....

Wow, good job Brad. Where are the cupholders? And are they regulation height as per the rally handbook?

Everyones cars look awesome!

Great drivers stands Brad! I'm sure one of the legs has c4 strapped to it so when Brad's losing he can trigger the explosion via 3rd channel on his radio. Lol! We'll have to tech the stands before every race. Hahaha!

My chassis is about 50% done and body is 0% done. I'm making excellent progress.
