Brushless
Since IFMAR and ROAR are now approve brushless motor to be in Mod class, I was wondering if you are going to allow that also.
NOT that I'm going to run it, just curious.

Some Race News
Race rules will be posted on the CAI site in a day or two...click the link at the bottom of this page to get there.
Fees for the race are going to be $50.00 for the first class and $25.00 for each additional class and you can register for as many classes as you want as long as you have a marshal to marshal when you need to marshal!!
There will be a 150 entry cap for this race.
You may pay Chris Hammond by money order or paypal (with no penalty) He will have information on the CAI site in a day or two with payment info.
There is a cut-off date for pre-payment and that date is July 19th,2005. Anyone paying after that date will pay an extra $10.00 per class entered. (pay now and save $$$)
Tires will be rubber for electric and foam for gas...we are looking into electric car control tires for this race and a decission will be made by this Friday.
Finally, there has been interest in a few new classes and we can't run all of them.....soooo.......please post here which of these three classes you would like to see added to this years CAI:
1) Stock Touring Car
2) 4 cell, 1/12th open
3) 6 cell, 1/10th pan open.
A decission as to which class, if any, will be added this year on this Friday as well.
Thanks for your interest in this race and I am looking forward to seeing y'all soon,
John Hughes

extra class
I would vote for 12th 4 cell, but i wouldn't argue with a stock 10th!!! (no bias... honest... well maybe a little)

I vote 1/12 4 cell open (can you say 6x1 )
... and I will try my best to get the website updates done for tonight.

Control tires, would this be included in the $50 entry fee for electric?.
Will this be available at the track only?
What are the cost for additional pairs and would inserts and wheels be open?.
How many pairs are limited for each driver for the class?.
SOrry for all the questions.

Classes
My vote would be to add 10pan open, but touring stock would be interesting
Handout motors for stock would be a good idea....make it a real tuner class. Handout tires for all electric classes?
I will be running touring 19 and touring mod for sure!
