Default OGR + RRR + GORC = one venue why not?

So here is an idea, why do we not work together and have GORC as a place where we race, and OGR and RRR organize these races?
PROS
- Supporting a local track and having a nice clean place to race
- No track set-up or tear down needed
- Cheaper cost for running races
- Central location for racers from all over lower mainland and Fraser valley to do battle and not have to complain about how far the track is.
I don’t see any cons on my idea, do you?

i am pretty sure i am not the only one who loves this hobby, without a track where will we race?

so lets have an open forum here and lets get this ball rolling.

i moved here from the states and down there rc racing is crazy busy ,i dont see why my idea wouldn't work.

We are always open to promote the hobby . Come on out to the track so we could talk.
Come on out to the race this coming Aug 6-7th .
Guaranteed fun.

its good idea but i personally dont like size and traction of goracing.
at goracing its only good for mini, 1/12 scale, vta or stock touring the most.

if you spend a few years RC'ing in the lower mainland you'll have your answer.

That is what I've thought and known since RC'ing.

After outdoor Nitro season, sure I'm down to run there, or if hes planning a bigger venue, even more down to go there.

I told Chris during the summer GORC wouldn't really be for me, and its stayed true. If its sunny, im out on the asphalt, if its raining, its a week off for other things.

ps, fast eddie is referring to RRR.

I beleive its $20 per person. The money goes to pay for Lot rental, broken boards, traction (pop), gas for the Generator, Blower etc. $20 is actualy very reasonable considering the overhead.

Thanks

The generator powers the timing systems that counts all our lap times from the personal transponder that is attached to your car .

Hi 604racer,

I think you had a good idea, let put in this way, YOU opened a good indoor or outdoor race track, I believed that we will go there to have fun.

RRR racing has always supported our indoor on road friends in their winter season efforts .
I wish they would come and support our efforts in the summer . I am sure that it would benifit all racers in the end .

So if I wanted to charge receiver batteries I would have to take power off my car right?

Thanks

PS. Anyone mind seeing an awfully ugly TA02? I want to bring it to run before I start my serpents

I wouldn't mind having a backup track when people are gone racing....

Yes, you needed to turn off your power. If you are living in Richmond or Vancouver area? Just go to Ken's Shop. Nice guy, he will help you out!!

If I can get out of work! See you this sunday!1
