2011 RCPS Canada Short Course Rules
#31
Just for the record, liposkippy is incorrect for what he saying in regards to the Canadian series.
#32
That's what I thought. Stock always means stock tires.
#33
Just wanna know if I have to pick up an rtr. Really everything is the same except for a couple blue bits.
#34
Just replace those couple of blue bits with the RTR version to make it legal for the Lite class. Otherwise you're racing at a higher level according to the rules. Better tires come in some of the kits but they have to be the RTR ones, hinge pin braces and such will be no exception.

It is a rtr but fully tricked out i don't know to me kinda defeats stock what do you think Steve would it be considered legal?

Rtr is rtr. We are not going to change or modify the rules this close to the start of the season. I've spoken to the other directors and we are in agreement on this. We are hoping that the more experienced guys would move themselves into the mod class but we will see what happens. The goal moving forward for 2012 is that the Canadian series will be following the U.S. Rule book word for word and this issue will go away (our rules were posted before the series offered the Sct).

I dunno about that....most 14 year olds can wheel better than I can....
I've got a box-stock SC10 brushless RTR that will likely run as-is here in the 'Peg, but to race at SORRCC in Saskatoon, I picked up a Titan 12T and an XL-5. Now I just gotta figure out what the best stock tires are for new clay. These existing tires are getting worn pretty low anyway! Converting to brushed is pretty cheap, and if that's what I have to do to run this, then I'm good with that.... too much power in 2wd just means I end up backwards more often.
