Default MID-CANADA'S 2010 SUMMER OFFROAD CLASSIC

Hi everyone. Sorry for the lateness on getting this posted. Our annual Summer Offroad Classic in Winnipeg will be held on August 13th-15th.

Our summer racing facility is located at Grand Prix Amusements, 738 Symington Road (corner of Highway #1 East and Symington Road) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Here is the info:

Mid-Canada R/C Auto Racing along with Racer's Edge and Fountain Tire Presents:

2010 Summer Off Road Classic
August 13th, 14th & 15th

CLASSES:
1/10th 4WD Buggy Super Stock
1/10th Stadium Truck Open
1/10th Short Course
1/8th 4WD Buggy Nitro
1/8th Truggy Nitro
1/8th Truggy Electric
Young Stars (kids only) Combined 1/10th Electric

ENTRY FEES:
All Classes $35.00
Additional Class $20.00

SCHEDULE:
Friday Aug. 13th: Track opens at 4:00pm. Registration and practice until 8:00pm.
Saturday Aug. 14th: Track opens at 9:00am, registration closes at 10:00am, drivers meeting at 10:45am, racing at 11:00am. (4 qualifying rounds)
Sunday August 15th: Track opens at 9:00am, racing at 10:00am (1 qualifying round pending and mains)

- Personal transponders are required, we do NOT have handouts.
- ROAR guidelines apply.
- LIPO batteries must be charged in an approved charging bag.
- Pit area is covered!
- Trackside pro shop!
- Food & refreshments available at our trackside canteen.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Motel One
Just 2 minutes from the track)
Highway 1 at Lagimodiere Blvd.

Travellers Campground is also 2 minutes from the track.
Highway 1 at Murdock Road.

I just posted on our forum to see if a couple of the Saskatoon boys are interested in making the trip.

So i guess no way to race a brushless truggy at this event? how long is the race? lipo change would take too long and not pitting would not be fair to the nitros..

or could we have a few sec delay for not pitting of a fake pit? I dont know how long my 5800mah and a 1800kv would hold out..

Yeah, for sure we will have an electric truggy class. I don't know why I didn't include it in the race flyer.

i dont know if there would be enough of us.. 3 tops? i could be wrong.

I'll be there for sure I Have no problem mixing it up with the nitro's as well. I will have to work on the most efficient battery change ever during the main.

Would love to run open if I had a motor. just bought a new 10.5 so I would like to keep it to that.
