Official GPMRA News

The GPMRA 2009-2010 Indoor Event Schedule is ready! To make sure you don't miss any events, please save the attached PDF to your computer, print out a copy, and pin it to your wall.

This coming weekend is our first feature race. It will include a show and shine, and a swap meet so if you've got any R/C items you would like to sell or trade, this is the time to do it! Registration will begin at 10:00am.

November 17th is the first RC101 school. It will be held at the track at 7:30pm. The subject of the first class will be... Electronics! So, if you've got any questions about speed controllers, radio equipment, servos, etc... be sure to attend this class!

Thanks to all the enthusiastic racers who came (in great numbers) to the first race of the indoor season. It was a smashing success with the greatest turnout we've ever had at any race ever! (inching towards 40 racers!) Way to go Grande Prairie!

I've been meaning to ask. How on earth did you manage to break your motor anyway? I mean on a T4 with the motor hanging out in the wind i can see it, but in a TC, especially your's with it completely protected!

I'm impressed!!

Either way I've got me a new spur gear for this Sunday. Can't wait.

Only 2 out of 3 screws holding the motor together were catching when I bought it... Came apart the first time at the Downtown race... JB Welded that sucker shut and did great in both the Jato and the Yokomo until last weekend

I wanna get it JB Welded and into my Jato soon... and get a new ESC/Motor combo for the TC...

One more battery pack to go and I'll have everything charged up for tomorrow.

Going to put a wing on the "Interceptor SS" to see if it will be easier to drive.

How much longer until racing? I seem to be way ahead of schedule for a change.

Greg usually when that happens the phone rings and I end up in the middle of nowhere. I know for sure I won't be there, with the whole family growing pink curly tails this week i think I'll play it safe and stay home.

Should come on out at least and check it out Perry. You'll be blown away by the setup the club has here.

I should be good to go as well!

...Provided I can find my JB Weld

Which is odd... I wasn't even supposed to be in GP this weekend

I got my table this week and my membership, and I just ordered a new body, just need to pick up a airbrush next week, I use to paint bodies a little bit back in N.S. when we raced slotcars. Can't wait to go racin tomorrow, Like Darrel Waltrip (From NASCAR) says '"Boogity ,boogity, boogity lets go racin boys!"

Hey Perry

What are the chances that when your chassis broke it cracked from the rear pulley slot straight across the the rear bulkhead screw beside it and then out to the edge??

Just put in a big order through A main. The next time you see my car it's going to be with alot of "World Champion DNA" in it!!

I still can't believe that for 2 weekends in a row i had the pole position and broke down in my first lap!
