Talking Re..DISC'S

Sorry for the late reply regarding plow discs....Try your local implement dealers, they may have an old farm disc taking up space in there yard. If you know any local farmers they may have one rotting away in there yard. Come on "FARM BOYS" you can find something...Try the local scrap yards as well!!!!The smaller the diameter and flatter the better. ( Thats my Silver Can Corvette launching off the one in the picture!!!)
Industrial discs are too large...They have about a 3" convex in them, However they are great for launching cars into the chain link fence or some ones pit table. Most of the ones we use are about 12" to 14" in diameter and about 1" high. We had them sand blasted painted them Tremclad yellow. As to the price of new ones I have no idea????

If you need plow disks and can't find them, something we used to use where the plastic disposable pic-nic plates. You can double them up for durability, although they won't take a lot of intential abuse the will work. The other alternative is a road rail system, if you can find one.

Looks like no motor limit for touring. Should be interesting.

Well it looks like Greg can keep his 3.5 in and totally destroy his car, or on second thought maybe he should play it safe as to not destroy someone elses.

It's definitely bring your tables for indoor.

I've got a bead blaster at work also. Between me and th other guy who has one it shouldn't take long to clean up those discs. Grab as many as you can Rod. They might come in Handy on the Offroad side also.

Pretty sure I'll be throwing my trusty old 13.5 back in Perry.

Well I'm runnig Super Stock!

Should I throw my 13.5 back in or will it be incredibly slow to what the rest of you guys are running?

What are you running Brad and Perry??

Mind you if we run the 13.5/ 19 turns we just need to change tires and bodies and we can race again with the Rally cars next door.

Sound like fun.

Sounds good Perry. I'll bring my 13.5 and my 5.5 just in case there's enough fast motors to make an interesting race.

By the way what time does racing start? Are we racing onroad at the same time as offroad? Same day?

Hey Brad!

What are the chances I can borrow your setup station? Should be interesting to see how far out of anything that resembles an alignment my car is.

For sure I'm going to hung myself with a the rope I've being given I will buy a motor I cannot handle and I encourage everyone to do the same. It will be so much fun see them flying. Come on, you know you waaaaaaaaaanted it.

I went to pick up the discs but there were too high, about 6 inches. Tomorrow I will look at other ones I am confident I can get some.

I am ging to be running my 19t and everyone has to remember there is a fine line between traction and speed.

Also are you saying most of us are dreaming of a track that you have cars crossing the lane next to it in the figure 8 style racing with one of those lanes having a jump to make it over the other cars. That would be fun. (slash class?)

Cant get too crazy the rules do say "Basically if you can safely drive it you can run it."

Make a carpeted overpass for the onroad! A safer way for figure eights!
